A Bird that eat 40,000 animals a day

A team of Danish, English and French scientists has found a way to convert Types A, B and AB blood into O - the universal donor blood group that can be given to anybody. The enzymatic blood conversion system enables the precise and permanent conversions of groups to ensyme converted group O, known as ECO red cells and is safe.

The oldest known seed came from a North American arctic lupine, found in 1954 burid in frozen silt in Yuken, Canada.Scientists determined if had been there for about 10,000 years.

If all the cars on US roads were converted to hybrids, the ammount of carbon dioxide emissions from vehicles in the year 2050 would measure the same as what was recorded in the year 2000.

That sunbeds can cause cancer is the latest finding worrying the British. Tanning salons in Britain are around 8000, it is estimated. A quater of British adults are thought to have used sunbeds. Studies indicate that using sunbeds below the age of 30 increases the risk by 75%.

A New Class of Black Hole
An international team of astronomers has discovered a new class of black hole, more than 500 times the mass of the sun. The finding is in a distant galaxy 290 mm. light years from Earth. A black hole is a remnant of a collapsed star with such a powerful gravitational field that it absorbs all light that passes near it and reflects nothing.
